Stacking w/o Darks
#3
phtnnzFor this first test, I used bias as darks, simply because no matching darks were available.
Still, results are promising, especially I think that the color rendition is way better than DSS!
Of course, without proper darks, there are hot pixels. What kind of stacking algorithm does Skippystak use? Average? Something like Sigma or Kappa-Sigma would be most welcome for a dithering stack.
Any plans for the development of Skippystak? Thanks for your efforts.

Hi phtnnz,

Well shucks Ma'am, it ain't got no fancy stacking algorithm. It simply aligns the images, and then
adds all the little buggars together - which is what stacking is, after all.

Nothing in particular. I'm pretty busy at work (which also involves night time astronomy), and also looking at re-working SkippySky,
but if there's a bug I'll fix it, or look at adding a particular feature someone suggests.
