Skippy_Seeing is written by Andrew Cool of Adelaide, South Australia. It is based on professional astronomy routines,

that computes an overall FWHM value for an image. The user then inputs the sensor pixel size in microns, and the focal length

in mm of the scopem from which a Seeing value in arcsec is derived.

Skippy_Seeing returns the Seeing in arcsec as it was when the image was taken.

Testing with Hubble images as a control shows the returned Seeing figure to be quite accurate.

The file cameras.txt can be edited by the user and extended with sensor and scope focal length combinations.

Skippy_Seeing is a stand alone program. It does not touch the Windows Registry. Create you own folder, e.g.:-

C:\Skippy_Seeing\ and unzip the zip file into that folder. Run Skippy_Seeing.exe. There is also a PDF Help file

in the Zip file.
